OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- A 68-year-old Moore elementary school janitor accused of inappropriately touching a 10-year-old girl remains in custody.

Chester Cecil Freeman was taken into custody Tuesday night on complaints of lewd acts with a child.

Police say the child told them Freeman took her to an Oklahoma City apartment and exposed himself. Officers say the girl's mother told them Freeman asked the girl for a sex act and told her not to tell anyone.

School officials say Freeman worked at Central Elementary as a janitor but has been on leave since June.

Superintendent Debbie Arato said school officials hadn't received a police report Wednesday, but Freeman's employment status would be reconsidered after they see the allegations.
