Tulsa Police say they've identified three separate groups of beer bandits who've been going into people's garages and stealing liquor.

The teenagers strike in late afternoon or early evening and look for open garage doors and refrigerators. They enter the garage; steal the items and move on to the next house. One victim says people need to know what's going on so they can protect themselves and their families.

Theft victim Julie: "I have an eight year old son, what if he came out to go scootering? Would they throw a beer bottle at him? I just don't know how dangerous these kids are.â€

Investigators say the three groups who've been caught stealing beer, don't know each other, and donâ€™t go to the same school.

Tulsa Police say to avoid being a victim, you need to close your garage door as soon as you enter or leave.
