OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) _ Governor Henry is raising the state's terror alert code from ``Yellow'' to ``Orange'' for certain areas, especially mass transit systems.

The decision to increase the threat level comes after terrorist attacks in London Thursday morning and following a decision by the federal government to increase the threat level to ``Orange'' for mass transit.

The governor says there is no evidence of a specific threat in Oklahoma but citizens are asked to be especially vigilant and report suspicious activity around mass transit systems.

The increased alert status does NOT affect commercial rail or general aviation.

State Homeland Security Director Kerry Pettingill says police chiefs in Oklahoma City and Tulsa are now reviewing their security plans and law enforcement agencies statewide are being notified of the increase in the threat level.
