OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- Heavy rain the past few days has reduced the fire danger in Oklahoma.
The Department of Agriculture, Food and Forestry says the danger is low to moderate throughout the state.
Parts of the state received more than two inches of rain Monday. More storms rumbled through the state Tuesday morning and additional showers are in the state's forecast.
A Red Flag Fire Alert was issued last week for 29 counties in southern and southeastern Oklahoma. The alert has been lifted in all counties.
Forestry officials say another alert may be issued if hot and dry conditions return to the state.
The alert does not ban outdoor burning but recommends it be avoided if winds are more than 20 miles per hour.
