An unwelcome visitor in a midtown Tulsa neighborhood. Residents say they caught a peeping tom peeking into windows in a neighborhood near 25th and Sandusky around 3 Friday morning.
A nearby Tulsa Police officer arrived quickly enough to find a man in the area, but couldn't keep up as the suspect ran through the neighborhood. Tulsa Police set up a perimeter, but still haven't been able to catch the peeping tom.
The officer on the scene says the suspect matches the description of Tulsa's serial rapist, but detectives aren't linking this incident to those attacks just yet. Still, it's enough to have neighbors on edge.
Neighbor Christy Aller: "My mind can't even fathom it right now, it really can't. It's just; it's just not safe any more."
Tulsa Police released a composite sketch of the serial rapist. If you think you've seen him, you can call Crimestoppers 24-hours-a-day at 596-COPS.
Tulsa Police say if you see a peeping tom in your neighborhood, call 911 immediately.
