Med Tech Ambulance Service is reducing its fleet and may pull out of Claremore. That's unless city councilors vote to subsidize ambulance service.
Many residents are worried about their safety should Med-tech leave, but Rogers County Emergency Management officials say there is a backup plan.
"Oologah wants to ensure residents there will be no interruption of ambulance service in Rogers County or Claremore, service will be available when they call."
The Claremore city council will vote whether to subsidize ambulance service at its next meeting. That meet is Tuesday, July 5th at 6:30 PM.
Med Tech says if the council votes not to subsidize, they will stop all service by the end of July.
