ARDMORE, Okla. (AP) -- University of Oklahoma President David Boren is proposing a budget that includes tuition increases for students and pay raises for faculty and staff.
Boren presented the budget to the OU Board of Regents at its meeting Thursday in Ardmore.
The proposal calls for a three percent tuition increase for in-state students and a total increase in tuition and fees of 6.5-percent -- or $268 per year. Tuition would rise by 5-percent for out-of-state students.
Boren is also proposing a four percent pay raise for faculty and staff and a $1-million increase for the campus library.
