A Rogers County court judge has ruled Margaret Kroeker competent for a preliminary hearing to determine if there is enough evidence to try her in the death of her husband, Paul Kroeker.

His body was found in a trashcan floating in Grand River in Mayes County last October.

Investigators say she confessed to beating her husband with a sledgehammer after he shoved her to the floor of their home.
