Tulsa strikes it rich with women bowlers. This is the last week for the Women's International Bowling Congress championship.

Over the past 3 months, 40,000 bowlers have visited Tulsa from all parts of the country. The tournament travels to different cities every year. Based on past tournaments, it's expected that the bowlers and their families have spent $40-million in and around Tulsa. And that's a conservative estimate.

Some of the bowlers say they spent a lot of money. Bowler Kim Casselman: "Well yes, (laughs) but we always do. It's vacation. It's supposed to be a lot of fun." Bowler Jenny Mero: "we've been to the zoo, we’ve been shopping already, we’re going back to the casino again today." News on 6 reporter Steve Berg: "Again!" Jenny Mero: "Again today, yeah."

The tournament action wraps up on Saturday at the Riverlanes Bowling Center in Tulsa.
