Health care is closer than ever for low income families in west Tulsa, thanks to a new clinic.

The Bedlam Clinic at the Sandy Park Apartments provides low cost medical services to those living in public housing, and other low income families. It also saves folks time and money in transportation, giving them a nearby medical alternative. Doctors say they're seeing patients who haven't been to a doctor in a long time.

Bedlam Clinic's Dr Janelle Whitt: "You see people getting well. You see people being compliant with their health care. You see people that come back when you ask them to. And you see that you make a difference in their lives and doctors aren't all bad people and bad places to go."

The clinic estimates it will see 120 patients each week.
