Two Oklahoma Highway Patrol troopers killed in the line of duty nearly 30 years ago will be remembered forever by Oklahoma travelers.

Trooper Kenny Osborn had been with the OHP six years when he was struck by an out of control tractor trailer while he was checking on an abandoned car. Trooper Larry Crabtree was shot and killed by a teenage driver he pulled over. Crabtree had been on the force 13 years.

Families and friends attended a dedication Sunday at the midway rest stop along the Turner Turnpike. The Osborn and Crabtree families say they hope current members of the OHP benefit from the memory of their loved ones.
