HOT SPRINGS, Ark. (AP) An Arkansas trooper arrests an Oklahoma City woman who is charged with first-degree murder in the death of a man found dead in a hotel room.
Arkansas State Police spokesman Bill Sadler said the trooper stopped a vehicle for pulling a trailer with broken brake lights yesterday.
While questioning the driver, one of the passengers was identified as Crystal Dawn Wood and arrested without incident.
Wood is wanted in connection with the February sixth fatal shooting of 39-year-old Rodney Smith.
Smith was found at the Courtesy Inn in southeast Oklahoma City by a motel employee who was checking rooms.
Sadler said Wood is awaiting pickup from Oklahoma authorities at the Garland County jail.
