OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) Oklahoma City police say they're investigating a daycare center after about a dozen children were found playing alone at Lake Hefner in the city.

Police found the 5- to 13-year-old children on the east side of the lake Friday afternoon and the person who was supposed to be watching them playing golf. Police say the man told officers another person was supposed to be watching the children, but that person was found looking for a fishing pole.

Police say the children were not injured and they're not releasing the name of the daycare or the two workers pending the outcome of their investigation.
