OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- Two people, including a child, were taken to an Oklahoma City hospital Friday after a hydraulic line on a jet broke and sprayed six passengers with hydraulic fluid.
EMSA spokeswoman Jennifer James says a 7-year-old girl and a 60-year-old man were taken by ambulance in fair condition. James says neither injury is considered life-threatening.
Officials say others sprayed by the fluid was sprayed with water to remove the fluid that can cause irritation, but is not acid-like.
Flight 3437 by Mesaba Airlines on behalf of Northwest Airlines arrived Will Rogers World Airport in Oklahoma City about noon and the plane was evacuated after the pilot pulled off the runway onto a taxiway.
Federal Aviation Administration spokesman John Clabes says the flight had 60 passengers and crew on board.
