A warning for moms-to-be, having your kids too close together could increase your risk of health problems.
Babies have a greater chance of being born premature or too small. Moms have run the risk of having third trimester bleeding or anemia.
Shiquita Mitchell of Tulsa has a son and a daughter, just 16 months apart. The mother of three says health concerns aren't the only reasons to space your children further apart. "I just think the first two years are so important for you to bond and I feel like you'll have a better stronger bond with your children if you wait at least two years."
The Tulsa Family Health Coalition is asking parents to wait at least two years between children. They say 10 percent of Tulsa births are spaced less than two years apart.
