In honor of their school's namesake, students from Jonas Salk Elementary School in Tulsa collected money to help out a good cause.
The students went door to door and raised money for the March of Dimes to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the invention of the polio vaccine by Jonas Salk.
Kelsey, Tristan, and Sharvari, helped round-up all the bags on money Wednesday morning to give the March of Dimes.
Kelsey Leaming: I've seen a lot of the bags of money and they were really heavy when we lifted them out so I think we raised a lot."
