It was quite a cliffhanger Wednesday for some future Tulsa firefighters.
Half of the firefighter cadet academy went through rescue training Wednesday, by raising and lowering things off a cliff.
Tulsa Fire training officer Dannie Caldwell: "Same techiques we're utilizing today, same techniques we used to get that driver out of the truck and back up. We have to have very realistic training. Don't have a lot of these, tend to forget things."
The cadets will train for six days. The experience they get would be used for rescues in trench collapses, creek rescues and more.
