OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- Governor Brad Henry signed a workers' compensation bill Monday that insurance experts say will save Oklahoma businesses more than $100 million each year.
Under the state's workers' compensation system, employers buy insurance to cover on-the-job injuries.
The compromise plan agreed to in the bill encourages early settlment of claims, promotes competition among insurers and addresses rising medical costs by eliminating dueling doctors.
