Tulsa should have a new food bank by this time next year.

The Community Food Bank of Eastern Oklahoma broke ground Friday on a new north Tulsa facility near Pine and Peoria, not far from their current location. The new "Donald W Reynolds" food bank will be three times the size of the current one and will provide some much needed growing room for the expanding operation.

The new building is scheduled to open next summer.
