Three bills intended to help members of the Oklahoma National Guard are to be signed into law Thursday by Governor Brad Henry.
The bills were proposed by the governor as part of his "Operation Homefront" proposals.
They provide $250,000 life insurance policies for all Guard members, exempt up to half of all military pensions from the state income tax and allow Oklahomans to donate part of their state tax refunds to help Guard families in financial need.
Henry plans to sign the bills during a ceremony at 11:15 Thursday morning at the 45th Division Infantry Museum in Oklahoma City.
