A frustrating delay for a murder victim's mother. Scott Bolton's mother took off work and made the drive from Texas to Tulsa Tuesday night for a court hearing Wednesday. But the hearing was postponed Wednesday morning until July.
Jason Nicholson and Charles Spicer[pictured right] are both charged with first degree manslaughter. They are former bouncers who are accused of being the ones who hit Scott Bolton one time when he was in a downtown parking garage. Bolton fell and hit his head and later died.
Bolton's mother, Debbie Henry, was disappointed at yet another court delay in their case. "It's been nine months and we expected some type of resolve, some type of information and we haven't gotten it. We understand the court system works slow, but, we didn't find out until we were already up here."
The defense attorneys requested the delay.
Prosecutors asked the judge to go ahead and hear some witnesses Wednesday since the family is here, but he decided it would be best to hear all the witnesses at one time and moved the hearing to July 6th.
