Tulsa Police are sorting out conflicting stories after a Thursday morning shooting. A man was shot in the leg near 61st and Newport.

The shooter says his wife told him someone was breaking into their SUV. He chased the suspect to his car and started shooting.

The shooter says the man tried to run over him, and that's why he fired his gun. The wounded man says he wasn't breaking into their vehicle, but just looking for help after his car broke down.

The wounded man was taken to the hospital. Detectives are still trying to determine what really happened.
