A Tulsa couple is thankful police caught two men who broke into their home and fired shots at their son. Bob and Freda were out of town visiting their daughter and grandchildren.
Their son was keeping an eye on their east Tulsa home. When he checked the house on Sunday evening, he surprised two burglars. One of them fired shots at him, but missed.
Bob and Freda came home to a mess. The burglars emptied drawers, went through papers and threw things all over the floor. The burglars put everything in luggage, and loaded it in the couple's truck, which they also planned to steal.
Freda: "It's unimaginable. I look at what they did and I think what was in their minds? What's the point? What's the point? I mean, most of this stuff wouldn't have done them any good."
25 year old Isaac Bates and 35 year old Brian Young were arrested just a few blocks away from the home, running and jumping over fences.
