Seminole chief decides not to seek another term

WEWOKA, Okla. (AP) The chief of the Seminole Nation has decided not to seek a second four-year term.<br/><br/>Ken Chambers described his administration&#39;s accomplishments in letter to tribal members.

WEWOKA, Okla. (AP) The chief of the Seminole Nation has decided not to seek a second four-year term.

Ken Chambers described his administration's accomplishments in letter to tribal members. But he didn't say why he was leaving.

In July, tribal voters will elect a chief, assistant chief and two council members.

Former state Senator Enoch Kelly Haney has said he will run.
