The Tulsa Zoo hosted the first ever "Celebrate Diversity and Me Too" celebration Tuesday.
It gave Tulsa Public School students a chance to learn about science and nature and to experience different cultures. Students were chosen from every Tulsa elementary school based on their achievements.
Robin Green with YWCA: "Some of them had shown marked improvement in their behavior and efforts to cooperate with others. Some of them had perfect attendance that they had achieved this year, so it's really not just the best students, but students who are being rewarded for good behavior."
Around 1,200 Tulsa kids attended Tuesday's event.
