76th Street North in Owasso is open to traffic. The widening project started more than a year ago, and Friday, crews removed the barricades.

76th Street North is now four lanes, connecting US highway 169 to US highway 75. Officials say the project was delayed several times because of weather and right of way reasons.

Tulsa County commissioner Robert Collins: "The point is its complete now, done in less than 18 months and we're excited."

The widening project was made possible by "4 to Fix" the county.
