McALESTER, Okla. (AP) -- A man convicted of beating and stabbing an Oklahoma City motel clerk and pouring acid down his throat was put to death Thursday.
37-year-old George James Miller Junior received a lethal injection of drugs and was pronounced dead at 6:24 PM at the Oklahoma State Penitentiary in McAlester.
Miller was convicted of killing 25-year-old night auditor Kent Dodd during a September 17th, 1994, robbery of the Central Plaza Hotel in Oklahoma City.
Dodd was stabbed repeatedly, beaten with hedge shears and a paint can, and had muriatic acid poured on his face and down his throat.
