NEWALLA, Okla. (AP) -- A 10-year-old boy was hospitalized after becoming trapped under water by an all-terrain vehicle in Oklahoma County.
Oklahoma County Sheriff's Sergeant Rochelle Thompson says the boy was riding the four-wheeler when it flipped into a pond near the Oklahoma County-Lincoln County line Wednesday afternoon.
She says emergency responders performed cardiopulmonary resuscitation, or CPR, on the child. Thompson says he was breathing but remained unconscious.
It was unknown how long he was under water.
