OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) _ Former state Insurance Commissioner Carroll Fisher and his former top aide are due in court in Oklahoma City today.
An Oklahoma County judge will hear oral argument on whether there's enough evidence to order Fisher and Opal Ellis to stand trial on felony charges.
Fisher is charged with embezzlement, operating a charity illegally, perjury, bribery and filing a false income tax return.
He resigned from office last September after being impeached by the state House of Representatives.
Ellis faces charges of embezzlement and illigally operating a charity. She was fired by the Insurance Department in October.
