A motorcyclist is dead after a late Tuesday night accident on I-244 near Mingo. It happened just before midnight.

Oklahoma Highway Patrol troopers say a vehicle was towing an SUV when the driver stopped in the road. Seconds later, a motorcyclist slammed into the back of the SUV. The people in the tow vehicle and SUV left the scene.

The motorcyclist died at the hospital. His name hasn't been released.

The two vehicles and the driver were traced to a south Tulsa apartment complex, where they were questioned. There's no word on any charges.
