Tulsa has a new district 5 city councilor. By just 11 votes, Republican Bill Martinson won the vacant seat on the Tulsa city council, getting 1,129 votes.
Democrat Andy Phillips was the nearest challenger, he got 1,118 votes.
Republican Charlotte Harer came in third with 1,055 votes.
Al Nichols, David Weaver and Allen Harjo round out the list of candidates. They got 10-percent, 3-percent, and 1-percent of the vote respectively.
This was a winner take all election, which means there will be no runoff.
