Tulsa burglary detectives need your help to catch two men who beat an 82-year-old man, nearly to death. It happened on South Fulton in east Tulsa.

The victim came home Friday afternoon and surprised some burglars who then turned on him with a club. His children say if their father had not been such a strong man, he would've been killed. Victimâ€™s daughter Sharon: "He's very shaken up by it. I think it's a rotten thing to do this to anybody, any human being."

Neighbors reported seeing two black men in their 20's, about five-feet-eight in the area. If you have any information that can help police, call the Crimestoppers hotline at 596-COPS. You can remain anonymous. If your tip leads to an arrest, you'll get a cash reward.

That neighborhood has an "Alert Neighbor" program, but crime is still a concern for those who live there. In fact, they had a meeting on senior safety just last month.

The Tulsa Police crime map shows there have been four other home burglaries in the area this year. Police have also responded to four felony assaults in the same area.
