The Arts and Humanities Council of Tulsa handed out the 2005 Harwelden Awards Monday.

The awards ceremony was held at Tulsaâ€™s historic Cain's Ballroom. The Harwelden Awards honor the individuals and organizations that contribute time, talent and resources to the local arts and humanities.

Tulsa School superintendent Dr David Sawyer was this year's keynote speaker.

Congratulations to this year's honorees, and to the five students who received the Mayfest Young Artists Award.
