Authorities are investigating two robberies that happened within 24 hours of each other. Police say a man walked into the Bank of America in the Farm Shopping Center at around 11 am. He was wearing a ski mask and had a pistol. The man took money from two tellers then took off.
Officers say bank employees and customers did the right thing by complying with the robber's demands.
Sgt Mark Watson Tulsa Police "If he's desperate enough to come rob a bank, it wouldn't take too much to pull the trigger and hurt someone inside the bank."
The suspect is described as a short and thin black man about 5 feet, 8 inches tall. He was last seen wearing a gray sweatshirt and blue jeans.
Police are also investigating the overnight robbery of a Tulsa drug store. Officers say someone held up the Walgreens near 31st and Garnett. The believe the same suspect may have robbed two other wal-greens stores earlier in the week.
His description is also similar to the Bank of America suspect, a black man wearing a mask and a gray sweatshirt.
