Bartlesvilleâ€™s Doenges Memorial Stadium will be the site of 81st American Legion World Series.

The board of directors of the 2.8-million member American Legion announced Wednesday at its annual Spring meeting that American Legion Post 105 in Bartlesville would again host the series.

The American Legion World Series will feature the nationâ€™s eight regional champions in a double elimination tournament. The five-day event will be held Aug. 24-28, 2007.

Bartlesville last hosted the event in 2003.
