Lawmakers say they want to place restrictions on teen's drivers' licenses. By doing so, Oklahoma would join 39 other states with graduated licenses.

House Bill 1653 would limit the number of passengers allowed to ride with a teenage driver. It would also restrict "The time of day" young drivers can be behind the wheel.

House Bill 1653 would make exceptions for passengers who are relatives and for teens who work.
