The deadly traffic accident happened early Monday morning on Midway road or 257th East Avenue in Wagoner County.

Authorities say the driver was northbound when he lost control of the pickup and hit a tree. The truck caught on fire and the driver never made it out.

Crews from Tulsa as well as the Oak Grove Fire Department were called in to help.

The name of the victim has not been released.
