OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) _ Governor Brad Henry is expected to sign a bill Monday designed to strengthen the state's anti-meth law by creating a statewide database linking pharmacies.

State law enforcement officials and legislators will join Henry when he signs House Bill 1507 into law.

The bill establishes an online database to help ensure customers adhere to purchase limits on pseudoephedrine, a key ingredient in the making of meth.

Last year, the Oklahoma Legislature passed a law restricting the sale of pseudoephedrine. The statute that has been credited with a significant drop in the number of meth lab busts, and more than 25 states either passed or are considering similar legislation.
