Authorities continue to look for a shooter along the Creek Turnpike near Broken Arrow.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol is investigating a fourth vehicle hit by gunfire during the same time period as at least three others Tuesday night. The driver found a bullet hole in the grill of their Escalade. No one was injured.
OHP troopers say in those other incidents, two vehicles were hit in their radiators. A third vehicle was hit on its hood.
Some people who drive often along the turnpike hope the case is solved soon. Muskogee resident Kathy Chaffin: "I heard about it on channel 6 news in the morning, because I listen to it here on the radio and I heard about it and I thought it's bizarre.†Wagoner resident Sabrina Sanchez: "I value my life very much. I have three kids to raise. I can't afford to die from someone being stupid shooting people."
Anyone with information that might help investigators can call Crimestoppers at 596-COPS. There's also 911 or *55 on your cell phone.
The Creek Turnpike is pretty heavily traveled. The Oklahoma Turnpike Authority says each day about 10,000 cars travel the section between 193rd East Avenue and the Muskogee Turnpike, where the shootings occurred.
But the busiest section of the Creek Turnpike is in south Tulsa. As many as 39,000 vehicles use the stretch of highway between Sheridan and Riverside each day.
