There is a push to strengthen Oklahoma's anti-methamphetamine law. The Oklahoma House approved a bill to create a statewide online database of pharmacies.

Governor Brad Henry says the database will make it easy for pharmacists to check if a customer has already bought the maximum amount of pseudoephedrine allowed by law. Pseudoephedrine is an ingredient in some cold medicines, but it's also used to make meth.

Another bill signed into law last year requires pharmacies to keep pseudoephedrine behind the counter and requires customers to show ID when buying it.
