The News on 6 is learning more about the drowning death of a 10 month old baby girl.

Tulsa Police say the child's mother had stepped out of the room while she was in the bathtub. Officers say Oynia Boyer and her two year old sibling were bathing in about 10 inches of water.

The mother told police she heard the older child screaming and went back to the bathroom, where she found the Oynia under water.

Emergency crews say the baby was in cardiac arrest and was later pronounced dead.
