The Oklahoma Highway Patrol and several other agencies are working together this weekend for Operation "Northeastern Watch."
They say it's a crackdown on all traffic violations, in an effort to reduce the number of fatality accidents. Troopers will have drivers' license checks, safety and sobriety check points watching for even the slightest violations.
Tammy Ryden/Daughter Killed in Crash: I am asking law enforcement to remain committed to enforcing the safety belt law in our state because I truly believe that law enforcement is the key because when we have officers out there that are enforcing the safety belt law and the public knows that's what they're going to do, then compliance will go up, we'll get more people wearing their belts and as a result, lives will be saved.
Troopers will be patrolling here and in several other Tulsa and Wagoner County locations through tomorrow morning.
