One person is injured in an early Friday morning accident and Tulsa Police officers say it could have been avoided.

It happened around 1:30 AM at about 47th and Yale. Police say a man and woman were pushing their car to the nearest gas station when they were hit by another vehicle.

Officers say the suspect had been drinking. He was arrested.

The woman was hospitalized, we don't have her condition. The man refused treatment.
