A special gift is ‘Sewn in Love’ for wounded soldiers. Folks at The Be-Sew Inn Store in the Farm Shopping Center in Tulsa are using scrapbook techniques to make cards for soldiers recovering at Walter Reed Hospital in Virginia.
A phone card will also be sent and everyone is invited to help.
Be-Sew Inn Store owner Mary Hess: "Anyone else that comes in, you don't need a level of sewing knowledge to be able to do this. So, anyone can stop by the store this weekend and make a card and send it off to a soldier."
Be-Sew Inn is located at 5235 South Sheridan. They are open Friday 10 AM to 8 PM and Saturday 10 AM to 6 PM.
Their goal is 500 cards. The cards will be sent out next week.
