The dust has cleared for folks who want to hit the River City Park trail in Sand Springs.

An asphalt and concert trail now cuts a nearly 2-mile swath through the park to link highway 97 at the Arkansas River bridge to Wekiwa Road.

The $455,000 project received 80 percent funding from a Federal Highway Administration Enhancement grant.

City funds provided the other 20 percent.
