TULSA, Okla. (AP) -- Authorities suspect a bank heist in Broken Arrow Monday afternoon is the work of a man wanted in connection with a Missouri bank robbery in February.
FBI Special Agent Gary Johnson says Daniel Murphy is the prime suspect in the 12:30 PM robbery of the RCB Bank in Broken Arrow.
Johnson says a man matching Murphy's description passed a note to a teller demanding money. The man -- who wore blue jeans and a white T-shirt -- kept a hand in his light-colored jacket to indicate he had a pistol, but no gun was shown.
Johnson says the man fled the scene in a red minivan driven by another white male, about 25 years old, with dark hair and a medium build.
Murphy is described as a white male, 5 feet 10, about 160 pounds, with brown hair.
Murphy is wanted on a federal warrant connected to a February bank robbery in Springfield, Missouri. Johnson says he also is a suspect in an April 8th bank robbery in Omaha and possibly several more.
Johnson says Murphy should be considered armed and dangerous.
