Vinita Police arrest three in connection with a rash of vandalism incidents

Three juveniles were arrested for slashing tires dozens of tires in Vinita. Vinita Police say the trio is charged with 81 incidents of vandalism.

The News on 6 talked to several Vinita residents last month who were frustrated after having to replace their tires, some more than once. Police say the juveniles indicated they were -quote- just bored.

One juvenile is a detention facility; the two others were released to their parents. Because the suspects were under the age of 18, their names weren't released.
