OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- Good news for the state's budget, revenue collections for March from taxes, fees and other sources are above the official forecast.

State Finance Director Scott Meacham says the state collected $353.8-million last month, more than $22-million more than forecast. The amount is also $33.5-million more than collected during March 2004.

The state collects money from individual and corporate income taxes, sales taxes, taxes on natural gas and motor vehicles and other fees to fund state agencies and programs.
