CHICKASHA, Okla. (AP) -- A large fire at a Chickasha pallet company continues to burn.
Firefighters say no one was hurt when the blaze broke out Monday afternoon at the Simer Pallet Recycling Plant.
Fire Captain Dave Wright says the fire will probably burn for two or three days because there's so much debris there.
Fire officials say high winds and a lack of area fire hydrants made it hard to control the blaze.
Deputy Fire Chief Ronnie Kessler says three buildings were destroyed and a fourth has considerable damage.
Kessler said the fire began when stacks of wooden pallets caught fire, with the fire then spreading to the buildings.
He says the preliminary investigation points to a possible problem with the incinerator that burns scrap wood.
Wright says 50 to 60 firefighters battled the blaze. He says the business was hit by fire a few years back.
