Tulsa voters approve city's $250-million bond issue proposal

We know the results of Tulsa's largest ever bond package. 6 proposals totaling $250-million were on the ballot for all kinds of improvements.

Here's what voters had to say.

On Proposition one, improvements to the city's transportation system. 72 percent of voters approved the measure.

Proposition two, improvements to the city's sanitary sewer system, picked up 71 percent of the vote with 29-percent saying no.

Proposition three, improvements to Tulsa's flood control system managed to get 69-percent of the vote.

Proposition four, also passed, gathering 73 percent of the vote. That money will be used for police buildings, facilities and equipment.

Proposition five, for Tulsa fire stations, facilities and equipment picked up 75-percent of the vote.

And finally, proposition six, to improve various public facilities, 66 percent of the voters approved it.

About 36,000 Tulsans went to the polls, which is in line with what the election board expected.
